William Thomas Ralston, age 74 of Paxton, passed away Monday morning, October 11, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

He was born February 22, 1936 in Superior, Nebraska, the son of William and Ina Mae (Stuver) Ralston. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1956 and received the National Defense Service Medal. Bill and his wife, Norma, moved to Paxton from California to make their home in 1995.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma J. and a sister, Carol. He is survived by three sons, William Ralston III of Paxton, Wayne T. Ralston, and Kenneth T. and wife Laurie Ralston of Red House, WV; grandsons, Matthew T. Ralston, Jacob T. Ralston and Ethan T. Ralston; and many nieces and nephews.

Grave side services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 15th at the Paxton Cemetery with Pastor Eric Wait of the New Hope Church officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the Miller-Hankins American Legion Post # 303 of Paxton.
