Warren Charles Robertson, lovingly know as "Wuzz" by his family and friends, age 44 of Ogallala, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008 in Ogallala. He was born November 26, 1963 in Tucson, Arizona the son of Warren J. and Emma (Larsen) Robertson.

The family moved to Arthur County, Nebraska when he was six years old. Reared on Grandma Larsen’s ranch with a yard full of cousins, he enjoyed life to the fullest. Warren attended Arthur County Rural School District # 4 and graduated from the Arthur County High School in 1982. He was a gold medal track star and played on the 1979 State Championship football team. He was baptized in the Arthur Baptist Church at the age of eleven and had retained his membership there.

His first job away from home was with Jim and Phyllis Bowlin. He worked for them on their ranch every summer from the time he was ten years of age until his high school graduation. They were his "other family" and he loved them dearly.

Employed as a center pivot service technician with Holzfaster’s Irrigation in the early 1980’s Warren continued in his profession as a service man until his death. He owned and operated his own business, Rainman Irrigation.

On December 29, 1990 he married Danette Brengle at Belle Fourche, South Dakota. In 1992 Warren and Danette opened a new flower shop in Ogallala, the Petal Pushers. An artist at work in his home and yard, he was an accomplished carpenter and landscaper. Always at his side was a true friend and buddy, his chocolate lab, "Kernal".

Darin and wife Roberta Noyce of Aladdin, WY

Sister in law, Davanne and husband Mick Moul of Ogallala

And numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren J. Robertson; two half-brothers, Kurt and Kent Robertson; and his grandparents, Eddie & Nell Larsen and James and Anna Robertson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 21^st at the Arthur High School Auditorium with Pastor Eric Wait of the Ogallala New Hope Church officiating. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery.
