 Tyler Andersen

             Tyler Evan Andersen, age 9 of Ogallala, passed away Wednesday evening, August 20, 2008 at the Ogallala Community Hospital. 

            Tyler was born April 22, 1999 in Westminster, Colorado.  He moved with his family to Bismarck, North Dakota when he was six years old and to Ogallala on August 14^th of this year.  He was just starting the fourth grade and had hopes of someday joining the United States Marines in order to help protect our country and later attend college.

            He will be missed greatly by his parents, brother, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and all who knew him.  He was able to touch each one of them in a different and special way and will never be forgotten.

Grandparents,   Ken and Kathy Andersen of Thornton, Colorado

Uncle Cody and Aunt Regal and cousins Zach and Connor of Thornton, Colorado

Grandparents,   Kevin and Sandy Meyer of Dunn, North Carolina

Great Grandma Arlene of Brookings, South Dakota

Aunt Samantha and cousins Patrick, Emily Caley & Harold of Utah      

He was preceded in death by his great grandma, Irene.

            Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Gubser Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Dobbertien of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating.  Burial will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established in his memory.

            Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
