Tim Hudson, age 65 of Ogallala, passed away Saturday morning, April 10, 2010 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Tim was born October 30, 1944 in Lexington, Nebraska, the son of Fred D. and Doris T. (Chesemore) Hudson. He graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1963. Most of his adult life was spent in the Ogallala area where he worked in the construction field and later for Jim Hansen at Lake McConaughy.

 In addition to his family Tim leaves to mourn a host of incredible friends gained through his twenty four years of fellowship in AA.

The dignity, courage and respect Tim earned was never more evident than in the last days of his life. He never complained, fought hard to the end, and maintained his sense of humor until the very end of his life. Tim had a constant stream of visitors that offered testimonials of what he meant to them in their lives. In the end, Tim died with the only things that matter: courage, dignity, family, friends and serenity.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17th at the Ogallala United Methodist Church with Pastor James Miller officiating. A memorial has been established to the Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad in his memory. Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com.
