Spencer William "Duke" Knaub, age 40 of Ogallala, died on Saturday, August 21, 2010 as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident at Lake McConaughy.

Duke was born May 7, 1970 at York, Nebraska, the son of Gary and Marilyn (Scott) Knaub. He grew up and attended schools in Ogallala, graduating from the Ogallala High School in 1989. He had resided in the Denver, Colorado area until moving back to Ogallala four months ago. He was employed as a sales representative for Jason Zoellner Ford in Ogallala.

One sister, Shelly Knaub of Ogallala and her daughters,

Ashley, Addison, Audrey and Alex

One brother, Scott and wife Mary Knaub of Ogallala

and children, Tyler, Whitney, Sherry and Barry

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, four uncles and one aunt

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27th at the New Hope Worship Center on East O Street in Ogallala with Pastor Dave Gill of the Assembly of God Church and Pastor Eric Wait of the New Hope Church officiating.
