Sandra Boyce

 Sandra Lee Boyce, age 68 of Ogallala, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9^th at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Ogallala with Father Bryan Ernest as celebrant.  Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.

 Sandra was the daughter of Boyd Ethan Neilson and Barbara Elizabeth Monhart. 

 Sandra studied classical music at Portland State University.  She was gifted in painting and enjoyed all aspects of art and music.  She played the organ at St. Luke’s Catholic Church.  She loved playing for the Lord. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Max Boyce and a baby sister, Betty Jo.  Survivors include her children, Betty Jo (Dan) Smith and their children Jessica and Nicole; Karmen Lynn (Wladyslaw) Drag and their children Tera, Derek and Joseph; Dana Lee Heckman and her daughters Brittaney and Samantha; Jon William Boyce and his son Jacob; brothers, Dean (Patty Fern) Nielson, Dale Boyd and Roger Allen Nielson; and several nieces and cousins.

 Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation.  Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com.  Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
