Phyllis Jewel Adams, age 77 of Ogallala, passed away Wednesday,

November 4, 2009 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Phyllis was born April 19, 1932 in Nebraska City, Nebraska, the daughter of Christian Horace and Katie Maude (Hutchinson) Adams. Phyllis grew up and attended schools in Nebraska City, graduating from the Nebraska City High School in 1950. She moved to Ogallala to make her home in 1965. She had been employed by TRW before her retirement.

Phyllis loved to fish, read and work crossword puzzles. She was a huge Nebraska Cornhusker football fan and enjoyed watching all sporting events.

Jesse Adams of Sun Lakes, AZ

Goddaughter, Dana (Whitey) Odenbaugh of Brule

Godson, Todd (Melissa) Annable of Green River, WY

And many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Floyd and Charles Adams; and sisters, Helen, Lillian, Nellie, Iva and Faye.

Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time.

Gubser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
