Paul Bricker

Paul Allen Bricker, age 70 of Paxton, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007 at his home. He was born February 13, 1937 in Paxton the son of James and Emma (Crook) Bricker.

Paul graduated from the Paxton High School in 1955. He served his country in the U.S. Army before being honorable discharged in 1961. He had been a long time employee of TRW and ASC and following his retirement had been employed by Titan Industries, the Village of Paxton and Ole’s Lodge in Paxton.

Paul’s special interests in life were hunting, fishing, playing cards and doing yard work. He enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He also loved his two dogs and taking drives in the country. He was a long time member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paxton and the V.F.W.

His parents, James and Emma Bricker; a sister, Jeanette Bridenstine; brothers, James Melvin Bricker, Bob Bricker, Joe Bricker, Keith Bricker and a sister in law, Katie Bricker.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17th at the Paxton Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Elwood Hipple, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be in the Paxton Cemetery with military honors rendered by the Paxton American Legion Post # 303. There will be no visitation. Friends may sign the register book from 9:00 until 5:00 on Monday at the Gubser Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com A memorial has been established in his memory.
