Norma Ann Corfield, age 65 of Arthur, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Norma was born January 26, 1945 at Victoria B.C., Canada, the daughter of George and Margaret (Modeste) Thomas. She attended Catholic Boarding School where she received her education. She married Jerry Corfield on December 2, 1972 at Rapid City, South Dakota and the couple moved to Nebraska to make their home. Norma had been employed at the Ogallala Pamida store for the past fifteen years until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, rodeos and sporting events. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Son, Jeff Thomas and special friend Joy Brown of Arthur

Daughters, Jo (Mike) Shalla of Ogallala

Lisa (Mark) McKeag of Ogallala

Son, Jeremy (Rebecca) Corfield of Arthur

Grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas, Justin Thomas, Becca Skaggs, Jessie Skaggs,

Dillon McKeag, Elias McKeag, Lucia McKeag and

Tallulah McKeag

Her mother, Margaret (Tom) Morrell of Victoria, Canada

Brothers, George Thomas, Rick Thomas and Tommy Morrell of Canada

Sisters, Vivian Thomas and Viola Thomas of Canada

And many special nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her father, George Thomas and a daughter in law, Mary Lou Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4^{th at the Arthur County High School Auditorium with Pastor Benjamin Keene of the Arthur Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.}
