Monty Chandler

Monty Wayne Chandler, age 45, passed away Wednesday, May 7th at his home near Keystone.

He was born March 20, 1963 the son of Kenneth D.and Aneita R.(Johnson) Chandler. He attended elementary school in Keystone and graduated from the Paxton High School.

He attended college in Torrington, WY.

Monty married LaRay Rietz and to this union three children were born.

Morgan, age18; Hanna, age16 and Colten age14. They later divorced and he married Amy Glinn. They had one son, Roper, age 8. His children were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his mother, Aneita Chandler of Keystone; one brother, Tim Chandler of California; his grandmother, Violet Pierce of Sidney, NE; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2004.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12th at the New Hope Church in Ogallala with Reverend Paul Kondy of Arthur officiating. Burial will be in the Paxton Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Gubser Funeral Home. The casket will not be open at the church.
