Misty A. Nauer, age 27 of Ogallala, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. She was born December 12, 1980 in Imperial, Nebraska the daughter of Evelyn Smith and Butch Crider.

Misty had been employed at the Holiday Inn Express and Sunmart in Ogallala. Misty loved her music and would talk about it for hours and enjoyed riding her bike. She was a very caring person and could tell by a person’s voice if something was wrong. She was a very unique individual and will be greatly missed. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Sullivan, Mary Cumming and Lisa Jeffers.

One sister, Mauricette and husband Daniel Gartner of Benkleman

Two nieces, Brittany and Samantha Reiman of Benkleman

Four nephews, Kory, David, Patrik and Dalton Reiman of Benkleman

A Cousin, Herbie Nauer of Ogallala

Aunt and Uncle, Loretta and Randy Raile of Benkleman

Cousins, Kasey of Benkleman and Kenny of Lincoln

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Mauricette Nauer and an uncle, Ed Nauer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Gubser Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eric Wait of the New Hope Church officiating. Burial will be in the Ogallala Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in her memory.
