Dorothy "Mary" (Griffin) Lammers, age 77 of Lewellen, Nebraska, formerly of Paxton, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Milford, MA Regional Medical Center.

Mary was born in Paxton, Nebraska on December 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Albert and Lenora (Ecker) Griffin of Sutherland. She had been staying in Milford, MA with her daughter for the past five months.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Carey and husband Michael of Milford, MA; son, Mark Lammers and wife Shelley of Paxton; three grandchildren, Heidi (Lammers) Meade and husband Brian of Omaha, Brett Lammers of Bonita Springs, FL and Mason Lammers of Kearney; four great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Alexander, Phoebe and Bentley; a sister, Roseanne Tridle and husband Bob of Rapid City, SD; a brother, Jack Griffin and wife Maxine of Wellington, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Paxton.

Grave side committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18th at the Paxton Cemetery.
