Mary Crutcher

 

Mary Arlene Crutcher, age 71 of Ogallala, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. 

Mary was born June 16, 1937 at Ogallala the daughter of Lacy and Signe (Larson) Crutcher.  Mary attended schools in Ogallala and

graduated from the Ogallala High School in 1955 before attending Kearney State College for two years.

 

Mary moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she was employed as an executive secretary for the Square D Corporation.  She later moved

to Arlington, Illinois where she was the office manager for the Country Estates Realty Company.  Following her retirement she returned to

Ogallala to make her home where she was an active patron of the Public Library and a member of the Red Hat Society. 

 

Mary was a Past Honored Queen of Job’s Daughters and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She greatly enjoyed her friends in the

over fifty five group. Mary is survived by one brother, Dale L. Crutcher of Springfield, Missouri.  She was preceded in death by her parents and

one brother, Frank Crutcher.

 

Memorial committal services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 27^th at the Ogallala Cemetery with Reverend Phil Ewert officiating. 

Memorials may be made to the Ogallala Public Library or the Grant Animal Shelter in her memory.  .
