Linda M. Hudson, age 59 of Ogallala, passed away on Friday, October 1st at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Linda was born November 2, 1950 at Ogallala, the daughter of Telesforo and Genevieve (Sawyer) Garcia. Linda grew up and attended schools in Sidney, Nebraska. Following her graduation from high school in Sidney, Linda attended Chadron State College and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She taught in McCook and after moving to Ogallala taught second grade from more than twenty years at Prairie View School.

Linda married Tim Hudson on April 16, 1986 at Ogallala. Tim had a longtime association with AA and Linda became a member of Alanon. One of their greatest joys was to be able to dance together. Linda also enjoyed arts and crafts and tending to her yard and flower garden.

Sister, Carlene & Matt Whitlock of Hemmingford, NE

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Hudson on April 10, 2010.

Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6th at the Ogallala United Methodist Church with Pastor Chuck Rager officiating. Online condolences may be sent to gubserfuneralhome.com. A memorial has been established in her memory.
