Dear Editor,

This is an update to all that have donated and said prayers for the family of Angel and Terry Martyszenko.

Justus Rylan was delivered on November 2, 2007 at the Ogallala Community Hospital. We did not make it to Lincoln as Justus surprised us early. He weighed 4 lbs and 2 oz and was 16 ½ inches long.

We the family would like to extend our sincerest thank you and appreciation to all of you that have kept us in your prayers over the last several months and for those of you who donated to our financial fund. Our gratitude is immense. The financial fund has been used for trips to Lincoln to see the specialists, for repairs needed on the family van to make the trips for doctor’s appointments possible, a special urn for Justus and many other necessities for the family over the past few weeks.

Our words cannot voice how grateful we are to live in a community and state of such great compassion and generosity. We know that many of you who donated do not even know us, so this is our only means of thanking you. There are also so many of you that we do know that it would be impossible to name you all individually. We would like to extend a special thank you to Shirley of North Platte for sharing her heart breaking story with us and for your help and support and to the Friends Helping Friends Foundation and the Union Pacific Railroad for your generous support. We would also like to thank Dr. Byrd, P.A. Traci Draucker and the staff of the Ogallala Community Hospital and the Gubser Funeral Home for all the help and kindness we have received from all of you.

Thank you so much,

Angel and Terry Martyszenko and Family
