Longtime resident of Ogallala, Eileen Louise (Krajewski) Strong, age 79, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.

Eileen was born July 14, 1931 in Ogallala, Nebraska, the daughter of Anton and Helen (Klein) Krajewski. She married Harold Strong on November 9, 1954 and they made their life together in Ogallala for fifty years.After Harold's death Eileen moved to Mesa, Arizona to live with her daughter.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Sauer and Patti Majlish of Mesa, AZ; one son, Robert Strong of Maricopa, AZ; three grandchildren, Krista Sauer, David Majlish and Anita Majlish Gore; one great grandson, Alexander Sauer; one brother, Milford Krajewski of Ogallala; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; one daughter, Lois Ann Reynolds; and two brothers, Gerald and Norbert Krajewski.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24th at St. Luke's Catholic Church with Father Bryan Ernest as celebrant. Inurnment will be at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Luke's Catholic School at 406 East 3rd Street, Ogallala, NE 69153, in Eileen's memory. Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com.
