Della McCormick

Della M. McCormick, age 87 of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her home. Memorial services will be held at
10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25th at the Gubser Funeral Chapel in Ogallala with Pastor Eric Wait of the Ogallala New Hope Church officiating. Inurnment will be in the Madrid Cemetery.

Della was born August 4, 1922 at Grainton, Nebraska, the daughter of Chris and Hulda Jensen. She grew up on a farm near Elsie where she attended a country school. She and Ted McCormick raised their family on a farm north of Madrid.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted McCormick; two sons, Jim Kelso and Bruce McCormick; one brother and three sisters.
 

Survivors include six sons, Gary Kelso of Arvada, CO, Loren Kelso of Denver, CO, Sonny McCormick of Ogallala, Fred McCormick of Grant, Phil McCormick of Boulder, CO and Calvin McCormick of North Platte; three daughters, Carol Seiler of Ogallala, Venita Kimble and Jodeen McCormick of Longmont, CO; one sister, Vera Seiler of Grant; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
